Configuring Association Between Interface Backup and NQA group

Configuring Association Between Interface Backup and NQA group

Applicable Environment

When the primary link is faulty, the interface backup module cannot detect the fault, causing service interruption. NQA technology measures network performance and collects statistics on the delay, jitter, and packet loss ratio in real time. To detect faults rapidly, configure association between interface backup and an NQA group to detect connectivity of multiple tunnels and to implement rapid switching when the primary link is faulty, ensuring service runs normally.

Pre-Configuration Tasks

Before configuring association between interface backup and NQA group, complete the following tasks:

An NQA group has been configured using the nqa-group command.

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run nqa-group group-name

An NQA group is created and the NQA group view is displayed.

  3. Run quit

    Return to the system view.

  4. Run interface interface-type interface-number

The backup interface view is displayed.

  5. Run standby track nqa-group group-name

Configure association between interface backup and NQA group.

By default, interface backup is not associated with an NQA group.
