Networking Design
Networking Design for Server Deployment
The small-sized AMI solution is used when there are at most 20,000 smart meters. When the small-sized AMI solution uses server deployment, the solution supports remote disaster recovery in the single-node system or cluster mode. The application system selection, deployment precautions, and networking architecture are the same as those of the standard AMI solution. For details, see Networking Design for Server Deployment. In cluster mode, it is recommended that the small-sized AMI solution should use software load balancing. If remote disaster recovery is deployed, the F5 load balancer must be used.
Networking Design for VM Deployment
The VM deployment mode, deployment requirements, and network architecture of the small-sized AMI solution are the same as those of the standard AMI solution. For details, see Networking Design for VM Deployment.
