Deployment Design

The AMR solution supports the single-node system and cluster deployment, and does not support virtualization deployment. In addition, application layer systems must be deployed on servers. To ensure reliability, the cluster deployment solution is recommended. When the cluster deployment solution is used, load balancing needs to be configured. The AMR solution supports the software load balancing and F5 load balancer. If remote disaster recovery is deployed, the F5 load balancer must be used. Table 1-2 describes design principles of the AMR solution.

The EEM and DCP share the database. All application systems and databases use the single-node system, and can be deployed on the same device or separately. Remote disaster recovery is not supported.

The EEM and DCP both use the cluster deployment solution and share the MySQL database. MySQL HA needs to be deployed, and the EEM and DCP clusters need to be configured with load balancing.
  • When the software load balancing is used, the DCP uses the LVS to implement Layer 4 load balancing. LVS nodes work in active/standby mode, and can be deployed on the same device with the DCP or separately.
  • When the F5 load balancer is used, the DCP uses the F5 load balancer to implement load balancing. To ensure reliability, you are advised to use the F5 load balancers in active/standby mode.
