Device Reliability Design

In the AMI solution, application layer devices and terminals have the service life of more than 5 years. They use industry-level chips that have passed the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test and aging test, and obtained safety certifications.
  • Server: The Huawei 2-socket or 4-socket rack server is used in the data center. Each server has multiple network adapters configured and supports network adapter binding to ensure communication link security.
  • DCU: A DCU can function as a data collector to collect smart meter data and be used as an IoT gateway to communicate with the application layer. In the AMI solution, the industry-level gateway router AR530 is used as the DCU, and integrates routing, switching, wireless, security, and AMI functions.
