Interconnection Between the EEM and DCP

The EEM supports one DCP cluster that allows a maximum of 20 DCP nodes. The DCP can be deployed on the cloud data center server or data perception layer server (the DCP is deployed on the cloud here). Ensure that there are reachable routes between the EEM and its managed DCP nodes.

The EEM communicates with the DCP using HTTP/HTTPS or FTP/SFTP over the Ethernet. After a connection is set up between the EEM and DCP, the EEM delivers parameters to the DCP through the RESTful interface, and the DCP reports alarms to the EEM through corresponding interfaces.
