Function

On the Objects page, you can add, modify, and delete FusionCube.

Parameter

Description

Name

Identifies a FusionCube system.

NOTE:

The name must be a string of 1 to 32 characters, allowing only letters, digits, and underscores (_).

IP Address

Floating IP address of FusionCube Center.

UserName

The default password is TrdRest.

Password

The default password is Huawei@CLOUD8!.

New username of the resource.

New password of the resource.

Adding FusionCube

NOTE:

One vCenter can access a maximum of 20 FusionCube systems.

Procedure
  1. Choose Home > Inventories > FusionCube.

    The FusionCube page is displayed.

  2. Click .

    The Add FusionCube dialog box is displayed.

  3. Set the parameters.
  4. Click Next.

    The Connection settings page is displayed.

  5. Set the parameters.
  6. Click Next.

    The Setting dialog box is displayed.

  7. Set the certificate library password.

    The certificate library stores the certificates of FusionCube Center accessed. You need to set the password for the certificate at the first access.

  8. Click Comfirmed.

    The FusionCube Center SSL certificate information dialog box is displayed.

  9. Click Comfirmed.

Modifying FusionCube

NOTE:

After FusionCube is connected, if the password of user TrdRest of FusionCube is changed, you need to synchronize the new password to vCenter in a timely manner. Otherwise, FusionCube management of vCenter will be affected.

Procedure
  1. Choose Home > Inventories > FusionCube.

    The FusionCube page is displayed.

  2. Select the connected FusionCube.
  3. Click .

    The Modify FusionCube access parameters dialog box is displayed.

  4. Set the parameters.
  5. Click Modify.

Deleting FusionCube

Procedure
NOTE:

Ensure that no scheduled snapshot task exists in the FusionCube to be deleted. Otherwise, the FusionCube cannot be deleted.

  1. Choose Home > Inventories > FusionCube.

    The FusionCube page is displayed.

  2. Selected the added FusionCube.
  3. Click .
