Checking the Node Hardware

Checking the Node Hardware

Check whether the PXE function between each Overcloud node and the Undercloud node is normal.

NOTE:

The check takes about 15 minutes. The openstack baremetal introspection bulk start command is mainly used to push a small system to obtain the server hardware information, thereby checking whether the PXE function is normal.

During the check, you can run the following command to check the PXE status in a separate window:
sudo journalctl -l -u openstack-ironic-inspector -u openstack-ironic-inspector-dnsmasq -u openstack-ironic-conductor -f

You can also log in to each node through the BMC and run the ironic node-list command to view information about registered nodes to verify PXE.
