Starting and Logging In to the iDeploy

  1. Decompress the iDeploy installation package to a specified path.

  2. Start the iDeploy service. Go to the bin directory in the iDeploy installation directory and run the startup.bat script as the administrator.

  3. Check whether the iDeploy service is started successfully. If information similar to "Server startup in 49453 ms" is displayed on the Tomcat interface, the iDeploy service has been started successfully.

  4. Open Internet Explorer, enter https://localhost:57679/ideploy/ in the address box, and press Enter. On the login page that is displayed, enter the user name and password, and click the login button. The user name has a fixed value of admin, and the default password is Admin123.

  5. If you log in to the iDeploy for the first time, the Change User Password page is displayed. Change the password to Huawei@123 based on the password rules and use the new password to log in to the iDeploy again.

Uploading a Software Package in HTTP Mode

Uploading Agile Controller-DCN V300R002 Software Packages
  1. Choose Software Package Management > Manage Software Package in the navigation tree on the iDeploy page and click Add.

  2. Click Upload software package using HTTP and click Next.

  3. Click Browse and select the Agile Controller-DCN installation package to be uploaded. Click Add file and select the Agile Controller-DCN configuration page to be uploaded. Click Upload.

  4. When the upload progress is 100%, click Finish.

Uploading Agile Controller-DCN V300R003 Software Packages
  1. Choose Software Package Management > Manage Software Package in the navigation tree on the iDeploy page and click Add.

  2. Click Upload software package using HTTP and click Next.

  3. Click Browse and select the Agile Controller-DCN installation package to be uploaded. Click Add file and select the Agile Controller-DCN configuration page to be uploaded. Click Upload.

  4. When the upload progress is 100%, click Finish.

Adding Nodes to a Cluster

  1. Choose Host Management > Manage Site in the navigation tree and click Add.

  2. Set Site name and Site description and click OK.

  3. Choose Host Management > Manage Host Group in the navigation tree and click Add.

  4. Set Host group name and Site name, and click OK.

  5. Choose Host Management > Manage Host in the navigation tree, set Site name to AC-DCN, and click Add.

  6. Configure host information. Both the user password and root password are MIMAshi@123.

  7. Click Check. A message is displayed, indicating that the verification is successful.
  8. Click OK.

  1. Choose Task Management > Create Installation Task, enter the task name, select the uploaded Agile Controller-DCN installation package from the Software Package drop-down list box, set Site name to AC-DCN, and click Next.

  2. Click Installation Task under Networking Type and click Next.

  3. Select all nodes in the Agile Controller-DCN cluster and click Next.

  4. Check whether the current installation information is correct.
  5. If the installation information is incorrect, click Previous to reset the installation information.

  6. Click Execute. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.

  7. Check the installation progress and status.
  8. Check whether the installation task is successfully executed. If the installation fails, view the logs, roll back the installation, delete the configuration, and reinstall the software.

Installing the Agile Controller-DCN V300R003 (Hybrid Overlay Scenario)
  1. Choose Task Management > Create Installation Task, enter the task name, select the uploaded Agile Controller-DCN installation package from the Software Package drop-down list box, set Site name to AC-DCN, and click Next.

  2. Click Installation Task under Networking Type and click Next.

  3. Select all nodes in the Agile Controller-DCN cluster and click Next.

  4. Check whether the current installation information is correct.
  5. If the installation information is incorrect, click Previous to reset the installation information.

  6. Click Execute. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.

  7. Check the installation progress and status.

  1. Choose Task Management > Create Installation Task, set Task name, select the uploaded Agile Controller-DCN configuration package from the Package name drop-down list box, set Site name to that set during Agile Controller-DCN installation task creation, and click Next.

  2. Click Simplified cluster and click Next.

  3. Select the corresponding hosts and click Next.

  4. Select the NIC corresponding to the network plane based on the installation plan, enter the southbound configuration information and cluster configuration information, and click Next.

  5. Enter the database configuration information. Set the password to MIMAshi@123.
  6. Select the local time zone.

  7. Set the certificate password to MIMAshi@123.
  8. Click Execute. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.

  9. Check the installation progress and status.
  10. Check whether the installation task is successfully executed. If the installation fails, view the logs, roll back the installation, delete the configuration, and reinstall the software.

Configuring the Agile Controller-DCN V300R003 (Hybrid Overlay Scenario)
  1. Choose Task Management > Create Installation Task, set Task name, select the uploaded Agile Controller-DCN configuration package from the Package name drop-down list box, set Site name to that set during Agile Controller-DCN installation task creation, and click Next.

  2. Click Simplified cluster and click Next.

  3. Select the corresponding hosts and click Next.

  4. Select the NIC corresponding to the network plane based on the installation plan, enter the southbound configuration information and cluster configuration information, and click Next.

Verifying the Installation

  1. Open a browser, enter https://Agile Controller-DCN server IP address:Port number/index.html in the address box, and press Enter.

    • The Agile Controller-DCN server IP address indicates the IP address of the northbound proxy (Nginx). In a cluster, the server IP address indicates the floating IP address of the northbound proxy.
    • The default port number of the Agile Controller-DCN is 18002. (In this project, enter https://172.24.52.81:18002/index.html in the address box.)

  2. Enter the default administrator user name admin and the default password Changeme123, and click GO.

  3. After the login is successful, change the password as prompted. (In this project, change the password to Huawei@123.) Then, log in again using the new password.

  4. Import the license.

    1. Choose System > License Management > License Information. Click Upload License.
    2. In the dialog box that is displayed, click Select file, select the license file, and click Confirm.
