Overview of the Joint Data Center Solution

Huawei and Red Hat jointly provide a complete software-defined data center solution. Huawei CloudFabic integrates with Red Hat OpenStack Platform based on the Neutron Plugin&Driver framework to provide an E2E network solution with network automation, O&M, and security. Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides computing virtualization, software-defined storage, and enterprise-level cloud management platform OpenStack.

Huawei CloudFabric:

  • The Agile Controller-DCN seamlessly supports OpenStack network service provisioning through the Neutron Plugin&Driver. A single cluster supports management of 3000 ToR devices.
  • Based on big data analytics, the FabricInsight supports network traffic visualization and network fault (such as burst and abnormal traffic) detection.
  • The SecoManager uniformly manages firewalls and supports OpenStack FWaaS services.
  • Network devices provide E2E 400 Gbit/s interconnection, the highest performance in the industry. The CE1800V provides industry-leading forwarding performance.
