Deregistering the DR Node from Node 2

Deregistering the DR Node from Node 2

  1. On the DR node, run the hdbnsutil -sr_unregister command as user s00adms.

    s00adm@hw00003:/usr/sap/S00/HDB00> hdbnsutil -sr_unregister
    unregistering site ...
    nameserver hw00003:30001 not responding.
nameserver is shut down, proceeding ...
    Opening persistence ...
    run as transaction master
updating topology for system replication takeover ...
    mapped host hw00001 to hw00003
sending unregister request to primary site (2) ...
    clearing local ini files ...
removing HSR entries from topology ...

    s00adm@hw00003:/usr/sap/S00/HDB00>

  2. Log in to the primary node as the root user. Run the su - s00adm command to switch to the HANA database user. Run the cdpy command as a database user to go to the python directory. Run the python systemReplicationStatus.py command using a database account to check the data synchronization status. (If the operation is successful, only node 1 and node 2 are displayed in the command output and the DR node is not displayed.)

    s00adm@hw00001:/usr/sap/S00/HDB00> cdpy
