Modifying the MySQL Database Configuration on the eLog

If the configuration, such as the IP address, TCP port, user name, and password, of the MySQL database on the eLog analyzer changes, you must modify the configuration on the eLog analyzer. Otherwise, the eLog may fail to run properly.


  1. Log in to the server where the analyzer resides as the root user.
  2. Right-click the desktop and choose Open in Terminal from the shortcut menu to access the CLI.
  3. Run the cd software-installation-path/engineering/tools command to access the directory where the analyzer startup file resides.

    The default directory is /opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools.

  4. Run the ./ command, press 5 as instructed, and select the database configuration to be modified. After the modification is complete, the database automatically restarts.

    LogServer:/opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools # ./

    2) Delete the IP address.  6) Change the web port.
    3) Set the gateway.	   7) Exit
    4) Configure DNS.
