Starting the Analyzer or Collector
After completing the initial configuration, you need to start the eLog analyzer and collector.
Context
In centralized mode, you just need to start the analyzer. In distributed mode, you need to start both the analyzer and collector.
Procedure
- Use the omm account to log in to the operating system.
- Right-click the desktop to open the terminal.
- Run the cd software-installation-path/engineering/tools command to access the directory.
The default directory is /opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools.
- Run the ./startup.sh command to start the analyzer or collector.
- The analyzer or collector starts properly if the following information is displayed.
All service start up success.

Ensure that the eLog analyzer has been started before starting the eLog collector.
