Changing the Analyzer or Collector's IP Address

Changing the Analyzer or Collector's IP Address

This section describes how to change the IP address of a physical interface or the management IP address on the analyzer or collector.

Changing the Analyzer's IP Address

  1. Log in to the analyzer server as the root user.
  2. Right-click the desktop and choose Open in Terminal from the shortcut menu to access the CLI.
  3. Run the cd software-installation-path/engineering/tools command to access the directory.

    The default directory is /opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools.

  4. Run the ./config_network.sh command and choose to change the IP address of the analyzer's physical interface and to specify the service interface and web access interface as prompted.

After the configuration is complete, the system automatically restarts the analyzer service.

If the default gateway needs to be changed after the IP address is changed, see Setting the Default Gateway or Adding a Static Route.

    LogServer:~ # cd /opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools
    LogServer:/opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools # ./config_network.sh
Which operation do you want to execute?
    1) Change the IP address. 5) Modify the database.
    2) Delete the IP address. 6) Change the web port.
