Changing the Web Port Used for the Login to the eLog

This section describes how to change the web port used to log in to the eLog or the IP address used for the HTTPS login mode.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the server where the analyzer resides as the root user.
  2. Right-click the desktop and choose Open in Terminal from the shortcut menu to access the CLI.
  3. Run the cd software-installation-path/engineering/tools command to access the directory where the analyzer startup file resides.

    The default directory is /opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools.

  4. Run the ./config_network.sh command, press 6 as instructed, select the port to be changed, and enter the new port number.

    The port takes effect immediately after being changed, without service restart.

    The default HTTP port number is 8080; the default HTTPS port number is 32229.

    LogServer:/opt/huawei/LogCenter/engineering/tools # ./config_network.sh

    2) Delete the IP address.  6) Change the web port.

  5. If the login to the eLog using the new port number succeeds, the change takes effect.
