Changing a Database User Password of a Service

Scenarios

The metadata of some services is stored in DBService. The default database user password is required for these services to access DBService. To improve security, you need to change the password periodically.

Procedure

  1. Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
  2. Choose Cluster > Service.
  3. Click the specified service name on the service management page.
  4. On the displayed service details page, click More and select Change Database Password.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, enter the password of the current login user and click OK.
  6. In the displayed dialog box, modify required parameters and click OK.
