Resource Monitoring

Resource Monitoring

Some services in the cluster provide service-level resource monitoring metrics. By default, the monitoring data generated in the latest 12 hours is displayed. You can click to customize a time range. The default time ranges are 12 hours, 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month. Click to export the monitoring report, monitoring items with no data cannot be exported. Table1 Service resource monitoring describes the services that support resource monitoring and related monitoring metrics.

  • You can select Used Capacity or Number of File Objects for this parameter.
  • In the federation scenario, you can select different NameServices for monitoring.

Resource Usage (by Directory)

  • Statistics of HDFS resource usages by directory.
  • You can select Used Capacity or Number of File Objects for this parameter.
  • Click to configure space monitoring. You can monitor the HDFS file system directory.

Recycle Bin (by User)

  • Statistics of HDFS recycle bin usages by user.
  • You can select Recycle Bin Capacity or Number of File Objects for this parameter.
  • In the federation scenario, you can select different NameServices for monitoring.

Operation Count

  • Number of operands in HDFS.
  • In the federation scenario, you can select different NameServices for monitoring.

Automatic Balancer

  • Execution speed of the HDFS automatic balancer.
  • In the federation scenario, you can select different NameServices for monitoring.

Slow DataNodes

DataNodes where data transmission or processing are slow in a cluster.

Slow Disks

Disks where data processing are slow on DataNode in a cluster.

HBase

Operation Requests in Tables

The number of put, delete, get, scan, increment, or append operation requests in all tables on all RegionServers.

Operation Requests on RegionServers

The number of put, delete, get, scan, increment, or append operation requests on all RegionServers.

Operation Requests for Services

The number of put, delete, get, scan, increment, or append operation requests in all regions on all RegionServers.

HFiles on RegionServers

The number of HFiles on all RegionServers.

Hive

HiveServer2-Background-Pool Threads (by IP)

Numbers of HiveServer2-Background-Pool threads of top users collected by Hive in a period.

HiveServer2-Handler-Pool Threads (by IP)

Used MetaStore Number (by IP)

Hive Basic Operation Time

Hive periodically collects the time for creating directories, creating files, writing files, renaming files, moving files, deleting files, and deleting directories.

Table Partitions

Number of partitions in all Hive tables, which is displayed in the following format: database # table name, number of table partitions.

HQL Map Count

HQL statement executed by Hive in a period and the number of invoked Maps, which are displayed in the following format: user, HQL statement, Map count.

  • Second-level znode resource status of the ZooKeeper service.
  • You can select By Znode quantity or By capacity for this parameter.

Number of Connections (By Client IP Address)

Resource connection statistics of the ZooKeeper client.
