Deleting a Service


If a service in a cluster is no longer used or needs to be reinstalled, you can delete the service on FusionInsight Manager.

You can perform related operations on the FusionInsight Manager service management page or service details page. This section describes how to start, stop, and restart a service on the service management page in the tile view mode.

Impact on the System

Some service configuration may expire due to service deletion. You need to restart the services for the configuration to take effect. These services are unavailable during restart.


If a service is to be deleted, the upper-layer services that depend on it must be deleted first.


  1. Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
  2. Choose Cluster > Service.
  3. In the area where the normal service resides, click in the upper right corner.
  4. Choose Delete from the displayed shortcut menu.

    Services are interrelated. If a service is deleted, services depending on it will be affected.


    After the service is deleted, you need to restart the service whose Configuration Status is Configurations Expired. During the restart, do not select Restart upper-layer services.
