Configuring the Load Balancing Function for Links Between LPUs and SFUs

Configuring the Load Balancing Function for Links Between LPUs and SFUs

By default, the load balancing function is disabled for links between LPUs and SFUs, and all the links between LPUs and SFUs participate in traffic forwarding. As a result, traffic may not be evenly distributed using the hash algorithm and is lost when being forwarded. After the load balancing function is enabled, the system selects the optimal traffic forwarding path according to the links between SFUs and LPUs.

The CE12800E does not support this function after having the FD-X series cards installed.

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run assign forward fabric load-balance

The load balancing function is enabled for links between LPUs and SFUs.

  3. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
