Impact on the System

The alarm indicates that the router ID conflict has been resolved, and the system will not be affected.

Possible Causes

Two or more indirectly connected routers shared the same router ID within one OSPF area. This router ID conflict caused frequent router LSA refreshment and route flapping. When detecting this conflict, the system automatically changed a router ID to resolve the problem.

Procedure

  • This alarm message is informational only, and no action is required.
