FEI_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.227.2.1.20 hwBoardResWarningThresholdExceed

Description

The number of forwarding resources reaches the alarm threshold. (Slot=[hwFwdResLackSlotStr], Threshold=[hwFwdResThreshold]%, Reason=[hwFwdResLackReasonId], Description:[hwReasonDescription]).

The remaining forwarding resources on the device are insufficient. The usage of forwarding resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

Possible Causes

2: The FIB v4 amount exceeds the alarm threshold.

59: Multicast MAC address index resources are overloaded.

60: The number of virtual interface table resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

61: The usage of ACL rule resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

62: The usage of ACL group resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

65: The usage of outbound ACL rule resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

66: The usage of outbound ACL group resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

69: Multicast IP address index resources are overloaded.

83: Multicast IP address forwarding table resources are overloaded.

170: The number of LEM resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

171: The number of L2Entry resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

172: Multicast MAC address forwarding table resources are overloaded.

174: The number of ARP, ND, or VXLAN tunnel resources exceeds the alarm threshold.

254: The allocation of the CPU defend service queue has been completed. As a result, services will be allocated to the public queue.

579: The number of the next hop resource usage for equal-cost routes exceeded the warning threshold.

580: The number of the next hop resource usage routes exceeded the warning threshold.

624: The number of IPv6 FIBs exceeded the warning threshold.

625: The number of ACL MPLS KB exceeded the warning threshold.

629: The next hop resource usage for equal-cost routes exceeded the warning threshold.

Procedure

  • For the cause "174: The number of ARP, ND, or VXLAN tunnel resources exceeds the alarm threshold.", properly plan network deployment and reduce the number of terminals connected to the device to prevent the situation where all Layer 3 packets are forwarded by the local device. In addition, run the arp resource-mode command in the system view to increase the number of ARP forwarding resources available to the device.
  • Contact technical support personnel for the cause "254: The allocation of the CPU defend service queue has been completed. As a result, services will be allocated to the public queue."
  • For other causes, no action is required.
