Possible Causes

By default, when a user MAC address is learned by different interfaces for more than 10 times, the system generates the alarm about MAC address flapping. You can use the mac-address flapping detection [ security-level { low | middle | high } ] command to configure the security level for MAC address flapping detection.

Procedure

  • Configure the Error-Down action on the interface or enable STP to remove network loops.
