Impact on the System

The card completely failed and services are interrupted.

Possible Causes

  • Cause 1 (EntityTrapFaultID=[132666]): The card failed to be registered.

  • Cause 2 (EntityTrapFaultID=[135439]): The card was powered off.

  • Cause 3 (EntityTrapFaultID=[135424]): The EPLD logic of the card was faulty.

  • Cause 4 (EntityTrapFaultID=[135464]): The in-position card type conflicts with the pre-configured card type.

  • Cause 5 (EntityTrapFaultID=[135427]): The clock signals of the card were incorrect.

Procedure

  • Cause 1: The card failed to be registered.
    1. Remove and then insert the card. If the card still cannot be registered, replace the card.
  • Cause 2: The card was powered off.
    1. Check whether the power is sufficient.

      • If so, go to step 2.
      • If not, add power modules.

    2. Replace the card and then check whether the trap is cleared.

      • If so, the fault is rectified.
      • If not, go to step 3.

    3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
  • Cause 3: The EPLD logic of the card was faulty.
    1. Power off and then power on the card to check whether the card can be registered or the trap is cleared after the card is registered.

      • If so, the fault is rectified.
      • If not, go to step 2.

    2. Replace the card and then check whether the trap is cleared.

      • If so, the fault is rectified.
      • If not, go to step 3.

    3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
  • Cause 4: The in-position card type conflicts with the pre-configured card type.

    • Run the undo device conflict-policy keep-config command to make the inserted card work.
    • Delete the pre-configured logical card in the position.
    • Remove the conflicting physical card and then install a physical card of the same type as the pre-configured card.

  • Cause 5: The clock signals of the card were incorrect.
