Possible Causes

The member device leaves the stack system.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the member device is deleted manually from the stack system.

    • If so, no action is required.

    • If no, go to step 2.

  2. Run the display interface brief command to check whether the stack interface is Down.

    • If so, rectify the fault.
    • If no, go to step 3.

  3. Run the display stack configuration command to check whether the stack configuration complies with the requirement.

    • If so, go to step 4.
    • If no, modify the stack configuration.

  4. Collect trap messages, log messages, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
