Configuring BFD Globally

Context

On the two devices that need to establish a BFD session, you can configure BFD for all the interfaces in a certain OSPFv3 process.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run ospfv3 process-id

    The OSPFv3 view is displayed.

  3. Run bfd all-interfaces enable

    BFD for OSPFv3 is enabled to establish a BFD session.

    By default, BFD is disabled in an OSPFv3 process.

  4. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
