Feature Limitations

An IPSG-enabled device checks only IP packets against the binding table. The device does not check other types of packets, such as Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) packets.

After the sticky MAC function is configured on the CE6870EI and CE6875EI, IPSG does not take effect on packets with the local MAC address as the destination MAC address.

When M-LAG is used, IPSG is not supported.

On a VXLAN, when configuring IP packet check against the binding table on the CE6870EI and CE6875EI, you can specify only the inner IP address in a VXLAN packet.
