Verifying the ACL6 Configuration

Verifying the ACL6 Configuration

  • Run the display acl ipv6 { acl6-number | name acl6-name | all } command to view the configuration about a specific ACL6 or all ACL6s.
  • Run the display time-range { all | time-name } command to display information about the time range.
  • Run the display acl hardware statistics ipv6 [ acl6-number | name acl6-name ] command to display statistics about packets matching an ACL6.

    • The switch can display only the statistics about hardware ACL6 rules referenced by MQC, but the prerequisite is that the statistics enable command has been enabled.
    • The protocol packets, such as FTP, TFTP, Telnet, SNMP, HTTP, routing, and multicast packets, are sent to the CPU and matched against software ACL6 rules. To view the number of times packets match software ACL6 rules, run the display acl ipv6 command.
