Enabling VXLAN Flexible Flow Statistics Collection on an Interface

Enabling VXLAN Flexible Flow Statistics Collection on an Interface

When configuring flexible NetStream, you must enable flow statistics collection and apply a flexible flow statistics template on an interface to ensure that statistics are exported successfully.

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the interface interface-type interface-number command to enter the interface view.
  3. Run the netstream record record-name vxlan inner-ip command to apply a VXLAN flexible flow statistics template to the interface.

Each interface can be configured with only one VXLAN flexible flow statistics template. Before changing the VXLAN flexible flow statistics template in the same interface view, run the undo netstream record record-name vxlan inner-ip command to delete the existing configuration.

After a VXLAN flexible flow statistics template has been applied to the interface, the template configuration cannot be modified or deleted.

  4. Run the netstream { inbound | outbound } ip command to enable NetStream on the interface to collect statistics about IPv4 flows.

By default, NetStream for IPv4 flows is disabled on interfaces.

  5. Run the commit command to commit the configuration.
