Configuring Export of TCP Flow Analysis Results

Context

After intelligent traffic analysis for TCP flows is enabled on the switch, the TCP flow table that contains the TCP flow analysis results is first stored in the cache of the switch. When the TCP flow table in the cache meets the aging conditions, the switch sends the flow table in the cache to the specified TDA for further processing and display of flow information.

You need to configure the source address for the exported packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis, and specify at least one destination address and destination UDP port number for the exported packets. The switch then can export the analysis results successfully.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run traffic-analysis tcp export source { ip ip-address | ipv6 ipv6-address }

    The source address is configured for the exported packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis.

    By default, no source address is configured for the exported packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis.

    If the source address is not configured, packets are not exported. The source address can be an IPv4 or IPv6 address. There must be reachable routes between the source address and destination address (TDA address) of the exported packets. Two source IP addresses can be specified simultaneously: one IPv4 address and one IPv6 address. The two addresses are independent of each other.

  3. Run traffic-analysis tcp export host { ip ip-address | ipv6 ipv6-address } port-number [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ]

    The destination address and destination UDP port number are configured for the exported packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis.

    By default, no destination address and destination UDP port number are configured for the exported packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis.

    You can configure a maximum of two destination addresses for backup of two TDAs. Before configuring the third destination address, run the undo traffic-analysis tcp export host { ip ip-address | ipv6 ipv6-address } port-number [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] command to cancel a configured destination address. Otherwise, the system displays a message indicating that the maximum number of destination addresses is exceeded and the configuration fails.

  4. (Optional) Run traffic-analysis tcp export template timeout-rate timeout-interval

    The delivery interval is set for the template for exporting packets carrying the TCP flow analysis results of intelligent traffic analysis.

    By default, the delivery interval of the template is 1 minute.

  5. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
