Verifying the IPv4 Aggregation Flow Statistics Configuration

Verifying the IPv4 Aggregation Flow Statistics Configuration

Context

You can run commands to verify that aggregation flow statistics export has been configured correctly.

Procedure

  • Run the display forward enp [ slot slot-id ] command to check whether the card performs NetStream sampling in enhanced mode.

    NOTE:

The CE12800E configured with ED-E, EG-E, and EGA-E series cards does not support this command.

  • Run the display netstream cache ip aggregation { as | as-tos | bgp-nexthop-tos | destination-prefix | destination-prefix-tos | index-tos | mpls-label | prefix | prefix-tos | protocol-port | protocol-port-tos | source-index-tos | source-prefix | source-prefix-tos | vlan-id } slot slot-id [ chip chip-id ] [ verbose ] command to check detailed NetStream statistics on IPv4 aggregation flows on the card.

    NOTE:

The CE12800E does not support the mpls-label parameter, because the CE12800E does not support MPLS.

The CE12800E does not support the as, as-tos, and bgp-nexthop-tos parameters when configured with ED-E, EG-E, and EGA-E series cards, because ED-E, EG-E, and EGA-E series cards do not support sampling of AS ang BGP next hop information.

Only the CE12800E configured with ED-E, EG-E, and EGA-E series cards supports the chip chip-id parameter.

  • Run the display netstream export ip template command to check the exported template information.
  • Run the display netstream statistics ip slot slot-id [ chip chip-id ] command to check NetStream statistics about IPv4 flows on the card.

    NOTE:

Only the CE12800E configured with ED-E, EG-E, and EGA-E series cards supports the chip chip-id parameter.

  • Run the display netstream { all | global | interface interface-type interface-number } command to check the NetStream configuration.
