802.1x Authentication Configuration
This chapter describes the 802.1x authentication principle and configuration method and provides configuration examples.
The device supports 802.1x. 802.1x controls a user's network access permission that involves personal communication information collection or storage. Huawei will not collect or save user communication information independently. You must use the features in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensure that your customers' privacy is protected when you are collecting or saving communication information.
- On the 802.1x network, if the administrator disables the 802.1x authentication function, any user can access the network without passing through access control. To protect network security, 802.1x authentication should be enabled to ensure that all users can access the network only after passing the authentication.
