Applying an ARP-Based ACL
Context
An ACL is a set of rules that differentiate packets and determines whether packets are permitted and denied. After an ACL is applied to a service, the device processes the packets based on service requirements.
Procedure
- Apply an ARP-based ACL.
An ACL can be applied to many features. For example, you can use an ARP-based ACL to classify ARP packets and perform traffic policing or traffic classification on the packets that match the ACL rules.
ACLs can be applied to different features, and the devices with these features process the classified packets based on specific service requirements. For details about the features referencing ACLs, see the configuration guide of each feature.
