VPN NSR

VPN NSR

The BGP/MPLS IP VPN feature supports non-stop routing (NSR) to ensure continuity of VPN services during an active/standby switchover. For details about NSR, see "NSR" in the CloudEngine 12800 and 12800E Series SwitchesConfiguration Guide - Reliability.

To ensure service continuity, NSR backs up the following data:
  • VPN forwarding table
  • Labels
NOTE:

VPN NSR is enabled on a switch by default and does not need to be configured.
