Configuring OSPF Stub Areas
Applicable Environment
Dividing an AS into different areas can reduce the number of LSAs transmitted on a network and enhance OSPF extensibility. For some non-backbone areas on the border of an AS, you can configure these areas as stub areas to further reduce the size of the routing tables and the number of transmitted LSAs.
