Improving Security of an OSPF Network
Applicable Environment
With the increase in attacks on TCP/IP networks and the defects in the TCP/IP protocol suite, network attacks have an increasingly great impact on the network security. Especially, attacks on network devices will cause the crash of the network. By configuring GTSM and authentication, you can improve the security of an OSPF network.
The CloudEngine 12800 and 12800E series switches support the following authentication modes:
- Simple authentication
- MD5 authentication
- HMAC-MD5 authentication
- Keychain authentication
