Verifying the Basic MLD Function Configuration

Context

After basic MLD functions are configured, run the following commands in any view to check the MLD configuration, running status, and information about receiver hosts.

Procedure

  • Run the display mld interface [ interface-type interface-number | up | down ] [ verbose ] command to check the MLD information on an interface.
  • Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address | interface interface-type interface-number ] * [ verbose ] command to check information about MLD groups that hosts have dynamically joined by sending Multicast Listener Report messages.
  • Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address | interface interface-type interface-number ]* static [ verbose ] command to check information about members of a static MLD multicast group.
