Verifying the Basic MLD Snooping Function Configuration

Context

After the configuration is complete, run the following commands in any view to check MLD snooping configurations, member ports, and router ports.

Procedure

  • Run the display mld snooping [ vlan [ vlan-id ] ] configuration command to check the MLD snooping running parameters and configuration in a VLAN.
  • Run the display mld snooping port-info [ vlan vlan-id [ group-address ipv6-group-address ] ] [ verbose ] command to check information about member ports of a multicast group.
  • Run the display mld snooping router-port vlan vlan-id command to check information about router ports.
  • Run the display multicast layer-2 ipv6 fib [ vlan vlan-id [ [ source source-address ] group group-address ] ] command to check the Layer 2 multicast forwarding table in a VLAN.
  • Run the display mld snooping querier vlan [ vlan-id ] command to check the MLD snooping querier configuration.
