Configuring the Status of the Device ID Indicator


When users need to locate and repair a device, you can run the set device id-led command to remotely set the status of the device ID indicator to help onsite users quickly find the device.


  1. (Optional) Run display device id-led

    The status of the device ID indicator is displayed.

  2. Run set device id-led { on | off } [ slot slot-id ]

    The status of the device ID indicator is set.

    By default, the status of the device ID indicator is off, that is, the indicator is off.
