Displaying Memory Usage


Memory usage is an important index to evaluate device performance. High memory usage will cause service faults. You can use the display commands to view memory usage to check whether devices are working properly.

You can view the memory usage alarm threshold to learn about the conditions for triggering alarms.
  • When memory usage reaches the alarm threshold, the system generates an alarm.
  • When memory usage falls within the alarm threshold, the system generates a clear alarm.


  • Run display memory [ slot slot-id ]

    The memory usage statistics are displayed.

  • Run display memory threshold [ slot slot-id ]

    The memory usage threshold is displayed.
