Setting the Maximum SSM Quality Level of Output Signals

Context

By default, a switch delivers the actual SSM quality level of clock signals to downstream devices. To lower the possibility that a downstream device traces poor-quality clock signals, you can configure a lower SSM quality level of output signals. This restricts the SSM quality level of the clock signals transmitted to the downstream device.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run clock max-out-ssm { prc | sec | ssua | ssub }

    The maximum SSM quality level of output signals is set.

    By default, the maximum SSM quality level of output signals is not set. That is, the actual SSM quality level of the traced clock source is output.

  3. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
