Verifying the NetStream Top Talkers Configuration

Verifying the NetStream Top Talkers Configuration

Context

After all the configurations of NetStream Top Talkers are complete, you can check the configurations.

Procedure

  • Run the display forward enp [ slot slot-id ] command to check whether a switch performs NetStream sampling in enhanced mode.

    NOTE:

    Only the CE8868EI, CE8861EI, CE8850-64CQ-EI, CE6875EI, CE6857EI, and CE6865EI support this command.

  • Run the display netstream { all | global | interface interface-type interface-number } command to check the NetStream configuration.
  • Run the display netstream top-talkers talker-name ip [ interface interface-type interface-number ] slot slot-id command to check the traffic statistics and sorting results.

The traffic statistics in the NetStream Top Talkers template can be queried only after the NetStream Top Talkers function is started for a period of time, which is configured using the cache-timeout millisecond command.
