What Can I Do If Multiple Invalid Network Adapters Is Displayed When I Use YaST to View VMware VM Network Adapters

What Can I Do If Multiple Invalid Network Adapters Is Displayed When I Use YaST to View VMware VM Network Adapters

Symptom

After VMware VMs (in SUSE) are migrated and equipped with VM IP addresses, multiple invalid network adapters may be displayed when you log in to Guest OS and use YaST to view VMware VM network adapters.

Possible Causes

This problem is caused by residuals of YaST configuration files. It does not affect the VM network.

Procedure

  1. Go to the /etc/sysconfig/network/ directory, delete YaST network adapter configuration files, and clear the residuals.
