What Can I Do If Storage Devices Cannot Be Discovered on Hosts When I Execute a Recovery Plan to Implement a Test, Planned Migration, or Fault Recovery

Symptom

On eReplication, when I try to configure storage devices on hosts, those storage devices cannot be discovered on the hosts.

Possible Causes

  • LUNs mapped to the hosts are abnormal.
  • The service network communication between hosts and storage devices is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Check whether LUNs mapped to the hosts are normal.

    • If no, rectify the fault and go to 3.
    • If yes, go to 2.

  2. Check whether the network communication between hosts and storage devices is normal.

    • If no, rectify the network fault and go to 3.
    • If yes, contact Huawei technical support.

  3. Clear the recovery plan and perform a test again.
