Uninstalling the eReplication Agent from an HP-UX-based Host

This operation uninstalls the eReplication Agent from an HP-UX-based host.


  1. Log in to the application server as user root.
  2. Run the cd /home/rdadmin/Agent/bin command to go to the path for saving the script of the eReplication Agent.
  3. Run the sh command to uninstall the eReplication Agent.

    The following command output is displayed:

    Are you sure you want to uninstall OceanStor
    BCManager Agent? (y/n):

  4. Type y and press Enter to complete the uninstallation.

    The eReplication Agent is uninstalled successfully if the following command output is displayed:

    Stop OceanStor
    BCManager Agent...
    Delete auto start configure file of OceanStor
    BCManager Agent...
    Delete environment variables of OceanStor
    BCManager Agent...
    BCManager Agent was uninstalled successfully.
    Please remove the installation folders of OceanStor
    BCManager Agent.
    After the uninstallation is complete, perform the following operations to delete the /home/rdadmin/Agent directory and all files under the directory:
    • Run the cd /home command to go to the /home directory.
    • Run the rm -rf rdadmin/Agent/* command to the rdadmin/Agent directory and all the files under it.
