Initialize file configuration.

Usage Guidelines

Linux is used as an example.

  1. Use PuTTY to log in as root to the application server where the eReplication Server is installed.
  2. Run the TMOUT=0 command to prevent PuTTY from exiting due to session timeout.
    NOTE:

    After you run this command, the system continues to run when no operation is performed, resulting a risk. For security purposes, you are advised to run exit to exit the system after completing your operations.

  3. Run the touch file name command to create a configuration file. This section uses initSystem.conf as the file name.
    NOTE:
    You are advised to save file initSystem.conf to the save directory of script initCloud.sh.
    The configuration file will be deleted no matter whether the initial configuration is successful. Back up the configuration file in advance.
  4. Configure file initSystem.conf.

  5. Run the sh initCloud.sh ./initSystem.conf command.
  6. Enter y and press Enter to resolve configuration file initSystem.conf.
  7. Enter y and press Enter to confirm the configuration information.

Example

The following uses configuring the HA mode in the Linux system as an example.

sh initCloud.sh ./initSystem.conf 
You are about to initialize the cloud active-active configuration.
This operation will restart the DR system, set the DR system to be in the HA mode, and configure the HA quorum servers.
Note that the configuration file used by this operation contains sensitive data. The configuration file will be deleted no matter whether the initial configuration is successful. Please back up the configuration file in advance.

Suggestion: Ensure that all configured parameters are valid and the certificate of the quorum servers is copied to the current host.
