Impact on the System

Except deleting the LUN copy and deleting the target LUN, other operations related to the LUN copy cannot be performed.

Possible Causes

  • Links for LUN copy between storage arrays are unavailable.
  • The source LUN or target LUNs are abnormal.
  • The disk domain is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether an alarm indicating the disk domain fault is generated.

    1. If yes, handle the alarm with recommended actions. If the alarm persists=> Step2.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  2. Check whether the links between storage arrays are down.

    1. If yes, replace the faulty optical fibers or network cables. If the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
