Impact on the System

The LDAP service cannot be connected, affecting the LDAP users' access to NFS share.

Possible Causes

  • The LDAPS client certificate is revoked or has expired.
  • The LDAPS server certificate is revoked or has expired.
  • The network between the controller and LDAP server is faulty.
  • The LDAP server has been shut down.


  1. Check whether the LDAPS protocol is enabled.

    1. If yes=> Step2.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  1. Check whether the imported CA certificate file, certificate file, and private key file have expired or been revoked.

    1. If yes, import the CA certificate file, certificate file, and private key file again. If the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  2. Check whether the LDAP server has started.

    1. If yes=> Step4.
    2. If no, start the LDAP server. If the alarm persists=> Step4.

  3. Check whether the network connection is normal between the device and the LDAP server.

    1. If yes=> Step5.
    2. If no, contact the network administrator to rectify the network fault. If the alarm persists=> Step5.

  4. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
