  • The optical module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether alarms are generated indicating the faults of fan modules in the enclosure that houses the optical module.

    1. If yes, replace the faulty fan modules. If alarm Optical Module Temperature Exceeds the Upper Limit persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  2. Replace the optical module. If alarm Optical Module Temperature Exceeds the Upper Limit persists=> Step3.
