Impact on the System

HyperMetro pairs under the vStore cannot provide services.

Possible Causes

The switchover function for I/O timeout is disabled, and the local disk array has slow disks or the service load is heavy.


  1. Check whether an alarm is generated indicating slow disks on the local disk array.

    1. If yes, handle the alarm by taking recommended actions. If the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  1. Reduce the service load of the local storage array=> Step3.
  2. Recover services and manually clear the alarm.
