Impact on the System

After the storage array is isolated, the HyperMetro pair is suspended. The storage array that has longer write I/O latency will stop providing services, decreasing reliability.

Possible Causes

  • The isolated storage array has slow disks.
  • The isolated storage array has an alarm indicating overheating batteries, fans, or CPUs.
  • The isolated storage array has disk or disk enclosure faults.
  • The storage pool where the member LUNs of the HyperMetro pair reside is faulty or full.
  • The service load is too heavy.

Procedure
