Impact on the System

The NAS disk and related features become faulty.

Possible Causes

  • The NAS disk is faulty.
  • The initiator of the NAS disk's link is deleted.
  • The mapping of the NAS disk is deleted.


  1. Check whether a disk is removed from the back-end device.

    1. If yes, reinsert the disk to recover the NAS disk. If the fault persists=> Step2.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  2. Check whether the initiator of a link is removed.

    1. If yes, add the initiator again. If the fault persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Check whether the mapping of the corresponding NAS disk is deleted.

    1. If yes, add the mapping again. If the fault persists=> Step4.
    2. If no=> Step4.

  4. Run the NAS disk scan command on the back-end device to which the NAS disk belongs. If the alarm persists=> Step5.
  5. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
